Since this is my first blog post on this site, I thought I would take a minute to give you a little peek into my world (rather my head). I figure a good category for these musings is, in fact, "Welcome to My World". If you think the world of internet marketing is complex, well, it's a good thing you aren't in my head! :)
Here, you'd find a veritible fire drill of constantly changing thoughts and ideas about everything; from new business ventures to cutting edge marketing and promotion... from building new income streams to leveraging the power of the internet to enhance my company's brand. You name it, it's going on in my head. Heck, I'm in dire need of spare change just to pay for the pennies for my thoughts.
But it's all good. In fact, life couldn't be better. Despite the tough economy, I still find this time in my life most exhilarating. Why? Because now more than ever, the ability to reach up and grab new opportunities is within my reach - in fact, within all our reach. Don't fool yourself. The opportunities are there. You just have to take the time to learn the things you need to carve out your path to your goals.
Every day presents a new opportunity if you keep putting yourself out there... keep learning and yearning for the things in life that you want. It may not be clear at this very moment, but it will - especially if you continue to grab the bull by the horns (and keep em straight).
Look around you and you'll see a lot of people trying to make things happen. Some will fail and some will succeed but the bottom line is you won't have a chance if you don't reach for the stars.
You might think this is unnecessary "rah, rah" mumbo jumbo but you know what, I need it every now and then and so too might you. Hopefully this was just a gentle reminder how important it is to stop and remember that opportunities are out there and it just takes a little push every so often to get ya back in the lane. Lord knows, with what goes on in my head, I can use it.
